Since 2020 the MS 271 comes with .325" 1.3mm, prior to this the saw came with .325" 1.6mm.

18" - 45cm - .325 = 74 Drive Links
20" - 50cm - .325 = 81 Drive Links
Counting the Drive Links in your old chain and comparing to these sizes ensures that you order the correct chain.
